CAPD and APD are performed using Baxter Cyclers for the 30 patientas on this programme. A CAPD Nurse assesses the home environment prior to a patient starting CAPD. The Renal Clinic provides a General Nephrology and Post Kidney Transplant service. Patient load is approximately 200 per month. Kidney Transplants are based in a three bedded unit offering a 24 hour per day service. Transplants are cadaver and live related.

Haemodyalysis is performed using 15 Cobe C3 Dialysis machines dialysing daily over 30 acute and chronic patients. Plasmapheresis and CVVHD are performed using Plas Auto I.Q. Plasmapheresis machines and Prisma CFM Haemofiltration machines respectively. There are currently 65 patients on the programme with a planned expansion up to 30 stations in the near future.
